Low Voltage, EMC, Energy Efficiency and Photometry
It is the main Own Unit of the F2I2. The LCOE-Technology brings together the activities of conducting tests on low voltage equipment, photometry, EMC and energy efficiency.

The LCOE has wide recognition and accredited experience in carrying out tests related to electrical safety and the protection of the user and his environment against risks arising from the use of electrical equipment.
The broad scope of accreditation of the laboratory, both nationally (ENAC) and internationally (IECEE, CB, CCA, ENEC) allows LCOE to offer testing services with the maximum technical guarantees, access to markets and compliance with the legal requirements.
The LCOE has extensive experience in electromagnetic compatibility (EMC) tests and has ENAC and CB accreditation according to the UNE-EN ISO/IEC 17025 standard, for both emission and immunity tests.
It is also a Notified Body for Directive 2004/108/CE, on Electromagnetic Compatibility (EMC), through the ENAC OC-L/157 accreditation.
There is a worldwide demand for more efficient products to reduce the consumption of energy and other natural resources, in line with improving overall sustainability.
LCOE has extensive expertise in energy efficiency testing for different types of products. The results of these tests can be used to provide compliance with energy labelling and eco-design requirements in Europe and other parts of the world.
The photometry laboratory offers a service to manufacturers of lighting fixtures to determine the characteristics of light emission and thus provide fundamental criteria for lighting projects. It is equipped with the latest technology and has a rotating mirror goniophotometer, which together with the most advanced software allows to offer complete photometric information.
